Q: Where is BML located?

BML's office and shop is located just north of Edmonton in Sturgeon County, Alberta. Our proximity to the Anthony Henday Drive allows us to serve clients in Edmonton as well as the surrounding cities and rural areas.

Q: What does it mean to be a full-service home builder?

Being a full-service home builder means that we work with our clients from the initial approval and design of their project, all the way through to completion and the final walkthrough of their home.

Q: How many years have you been in business?

BML has been in business since 2006. Over that time, we have built several full completion homes and major additions with full home renovations, and provided countless other services for smaller renovations and exterior work.

Q: How do you compare yourself to other builders?

One thing that sets us apart from many builders is that BML is a full completion home builder and we offer the majority of our services in-house with our own skilled carpenters, as opposed to contracting work out. Our approach allows us to keep a close eye on your project, take ownership for the quality of work provided, and ensures that all work is completed according to our company’s standards.

We also utilize a personalized web-based software to manage all of our projects. This software allows our team to share real-time information pertaining to proposals, estimates, schedules, budgets, daily work, and more with all of our clients, and ensures transparency and involvement throughout our whole process.

Q: What are the most important benefits of the homes you build?

BML builds quality homes with an extensive eye for the little details. In the initial planning and design stages we put a large emphasis on space planning and efficiency to ensure your home is functional, bright, and comfortable, and also performs well in Alberta’s cold winters and hot summers for years to come.

Q: What type of warranty do you offer?

BML is partnered with Progressive New Home Warranty.

Q: What are the major energy-saving features of homes you build?

The major energy-saving features we incorporate into our homes are ICF (Insulated Concrete Forms) basements, Roxul batt insulation in walls, attic cellulose blow in, triple pane windows, highly efficient forced air furnaces and hot water tanks.

Q: Do you supply plans for your builds? Or can I provide my own set of plans?

Either! We are happy to work with you to generate custom plans that will suite your household’s needs, but we are also willing to work with plans supplied by you if preferred.

Q: Who will oversee the construction of my home?

All aspects of your project will be overseen by BML’s owner, Brad L’Heureux.
